Web-based Courses

Carroll College Web courses are designed to provide students with the highest quality learning experiences. Web-based courses include a variety of fully online courses and courses that are conducted mostly online that have an initial meeting in class and, in some cases, several more in-class meetings. These courses are listed at the online offerings link under format as either “Fully Online” or “Meeting+Online.” Many of the fully online courses are accelerated eight-week courses offered through the Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities (OCICU). Carroll College became a member of OCICU to offer students a wider variety of online courses in collaboration with other private colleges and universities.

Web-based courses that are not noted in the schedule below as OCICU courses follow the same academic calendar and policies as traditional Carroll courses. 

Please note that the OCICU courses have different drop policies, pricing, refund policies, and start and ending dates depending on the college that offers this course. This semester, we are offering OCICU courses from Regis University (R), Southern New Hampshire (N), and Saint Leo University (S).

*If you withdraw from the class after these dates, no refunds can be made.

Students contemplating dropping and substituting courses involving online programs may substitute another section of the same course as long as it is in the same term ("Term" applies to the period during which the course is offered, beginning to ending date). Traditional courses and courses offered through the Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities (OCICU) have different start and end dates (see above dates) and drop policies even though they may be equivalent courses. Students contemplating dropping or substituting an OCICU course with a traditional course or an OCICU course must contact the Registrar at 262-524-7211 or email ahanfor@cc.edu for policy and cost information.

*All refunds will be reduced by a 5% administrative fee (not to exceed $100)

Students dropping after the above dates will be ineligible for a tuition refund. Recipients of federal financial aid may have a portion of their Title IV aid returned if they withdraw from these online courses. If financial aid is returned, the student is responsible for the entire tuition cost. There will be no exceptions made to the published drop/refund dates.
