Purpose
To recognize and honor outstanding Carroll athletes who have made significant marks in athletic achievement while students at Carroll, as coaches, or as amateur or professional athletes.

To support and renew respect for the Carroll College athletic tradition by recognition of the outstanding participants in that tradition.

Conditions for eligibility

The candidate must:

Have earned a varsity letter at Carroll.
Be an alumnus of at least 10 years.
Have made an outstanding contribution to athletics as a player, coach, athletic director or participant.
In the case of former coaches, have completed their coaching career at Carroll a minimum of 10 years prior to nomination, or be age 50 or older.

Basis for selection

Individual performance in athletics (school records set, all conference selection, all-American selection.)
Outstanding AAU, Olympic amateur, or professional participation.
Individual contribution to the world of sports other than competition.
A distinguished record as coach, athletic director, or participant following completion of his/her career at Carroll.
Distinguished service in the form of financial and/or volunteer participation in support of Carroll College athletics.
