Since institutional needs change over time, it is recommended that a specific purpose bequest be stated as a preference, with final determination of fund allocation left to the discretion of the Board of Trustees of Carroll College.

To the college, unrestricted:

"I give to Carroll College, Inc., a Wisconsin corporation, in Waukesha, Wisconsin,

the sum of $ _____, (or _____ percent of the remainder of my estate) to be used

for the benefit of said college in such manner as the trustees thereof may direct."

 

To establish an Endowed Scholarship Fund:

 

"I give to Carroll College, Inc., a Wisconsin corporation, in Waukesha, Wisconsin,

the sum of $ _____ (or _____ percent of the remainder of my estate) to establish

a permanently endowed scholarship fund to be known as the

_____________________ Scholarship Fund (named by the donor; $25,000

minimum for endowed scholarship, endowments of other types begin with a

$50,000 minimum.) Income but not principal from this fund shall be used to

provide scholarship assistance for students at the college.
