Welcome

Knowledge of politics and global studies is a necessary prerequisite for today’s college students in an ever-changing globalizing society. Carroll University offers majors in either politics or global studies. Courses are tailored to provide students with substantive knowledge in their chosen fields of study, and to equip them with necessary analytical and critical thinking skills, oral and written communication abilities, and an awareness of, and sensitivity to, cultures, perspectives, rationales and objectives different from their own – all of which are fundamental to liberal arts education.

Graduates with these majors go on to attend graduate school or professional school, or enter careers in a wide range of fields, including federal, local or state government, nonprofit management, business, journalism and politics.
