Mission Statement

In the residence halls at Carroll University, the resident is our number one priority. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming living and learning environment that supports the academic mission of the institution. To assist in the development of each student, we create social, educational and community opportunities to enhance personal growth.

To accomplish our mission we recruit and train quality staff to educate students on how to live as active and responsible members of the community.

Residence hall living can be one of the most important and memorable parts of your total college experience. It provides the opportunity for you to make new friends, become a part of a community and benefit from residence hall educational, cultural, social and recreational activities.

Carroll University has six residence halls, six apartment buildings and two houses that accommodate approximately 1200 full-time students. Each residence hall has a professional residence life staff member who lives in and manages the building, providing support to the residential student. Resident Assistants (RAs) are undergraduate students living on each residence hall floor and in each apartment and house who are available to assist students. The residence life staff members partner with students to develop a community atmosphere conducive to learning, personal growth and enjoyment on the floor and in university housing.

Members of our residential community will be respectful of each other and abide by university policies and procedures. All students should be aware of the information in the student handbook and residents should observe the residence life section.
